  • What is the duration of the Film walk?

The Dingle Film Walk in full is approx 3 hours. We can tailor the walk making it shorter if required, to 2 hours or indeed 1 hour is also possible.

The Kerry Walks can be tailored to suit you.

  • Where does the film walk start and end?

The walk begins and ends at the car park of the Blasket Centre in Dunquin. It is a 20 min drive from Dingle town, see it here on google map.

  • Are there any opportunities for photos at the film locations?

Yes there are lots of opportunities for great photos along the route. I am also happy to take photos of you on the walk.

  • What is the level of physical activity required for the film walk?

The Dingle Film Walk can be described as an easy to moderate walk and requires a reasonable level of fitness. The route is along a track but the ground is uneven in places and can be wet at times.

The Kerry Walks can be tailored to your fitness level but these walks require a level of fitness and some experiences in outdoor walking/hiking.

  • How does the tour handle inclement weather?

The weather is very much part of the whole experience here on the peninsula and was very much part of the filming experience for the film crews that have come here. We will embrace what we are given on the day unless the conditions are unsafe.

  • Is the walk suitable for dogs?

No, dogs are not permitted on the walk due to the risk to livestock.
