Overview

About the Walk

From Annascaul Lake we make our way on the old track to Macha na Bò with An Com Dubh and An Ré Mhòr on either side of us and with a very steady and easy ascent of just over 300m. Soon we will have views of Beenoskee and Stradbally. Overlooking Macha na Bò we will have stunning views out over Brandon Bay.

We will descend to Macha na Bò and have our lunch at the ruins of an old farmhouse. Following lunch we will return via the same route.
